While I’m on passive income focus a big ticket item appears to be crypto-currency. There are many digital currencies that will pay you for holding them (like interest) and Coinbase is a user friend exchange/wallet that makes this a breeze. They offer interest (referred to as “staking” or “holding”) on two digital currencies as well as many other bonuses just for using their program to buy/store/sell crypto-currency.
Don’t be scare of crypto-currency!
I know it seems scary and complicated but over the next few weeks I plan to keep providing guides like this one to help you earn, store, and sell all sorts of crypto-currency. It’s not too much different than the stock market except that it provides several bonuses that stocks just do not. Not only do the value of your digital coins fluctuate with demand but you can earn interest just for holding them as well a few other tasks I’ll begin to explain.
The first step is signing up!
I was pulling your leg when I said Coinbase is the most user friendly and easiest to use crypto-currency I’ve come across. Now Coinbase does have two versions. They have their main website which is refereed to as an “exchange” where you can buy/sell crypto. You can also store these coins here and I’ll touch on that in a minute. Then they have a “wallet” which is only available on mobile apps. The Coinbase Wallet let’s you send/receive crypto as well as lets you store it for easy transfers. However we don’t need the Coinebase Wallet today so we’re only touching on the exchange site.
Earn $10 by buying coins
Simply go to Coinbase.com and register. If you use my referral links, you’ll get a $10 bonus once you buy or sell $100 worth of crypto currency within 180 days of opening your account. I know this step isn’t for everyone but if you have the $100 to invest, I highly recommend it. In a day I turned my Coinbase portfolio from $50-$100 and we’ll keep touching on that.
If you didn’t know, there is several different types of crypto (use my stock reference above) but we’re skipping right past that today. The bottom line is once the coins are in your account they are yours and they are worth real money that you can cash in later. Or if you’re feeling lucky you can add them to your account now and hope they continue to grow.
Earn $12-$52 in Orchid (OXT)
Orchid is a crypto-powered privacy tool. Learn how it works and you’ll get free OXT to try out Orchid’s VPN service. All you need to do is 3 one minute long videos and answer a question after each. If you’re feeling like a cheater you can even Google how to find the answers. For each correct answer you’ll receive $4 worth of OXT ($12 total). Once you complete the test, you can refer friends to do the same and earn an additional $10 for each friend who joins (up to 4/$40).
Just like the above tip, Coinbase offers a $2 per video reward for 5 videos. That’s a total of $10 plus $10 for any friend you refer to do the same. And just like the above, you may or may not be able to find the answers to the questions on Google.
Just like the above tip (deja vu is fun!), Coinbase offers a $2 per video reward for 5 videos. That’s a total of $10 plus $10 for any friend you refer to do the same. And just like the above, you may or may not be able to find the answers to the questions on Google.
While earning the $6 in Tezos requires three short videos/test like the above (answers) but it’s worth mentioning that Coinbase offers a staking bonus for holding the coins in your account. It would be really rude to the other four coins on this list for me to tell you that you can convert all the coins you just earned into Tezos (XTZ) to earn a 5% bonus on all of it.
Coinbase’s “Earn” program that aims to reward you for you learning about new and upcoming digital currencies is ever evolving. They can and do limit the amount of currency they send out, and my referral links above are only good for 4 redemptions. Once they expire you may be instructed to join a wait list. I personally joined the wait list fort all 4 of these about a week ago and was emailed this morning to complete the tests.
