Unless you’ve been living under rock, you know that the original Resident Evil is being remastered for the previous and current generation systems (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, & the PS4). Originally released as Bioharzard in Japan (1996) it was released in America under the title Resident Evil. A year later it was re-released as Resident Evil: Director’s Cut and was later revamped for the Gamecube (2002). Yes, this game has been retooled a handful of times, but we’re finally looking at modern remaster with 1080p graphics (720 for previous gen systems) across the board. Although it’s the Gamecube version being reworked most of the original is still in there. The only release date we have is “early 2015” but that isn’t stopping Capcom from releasing a slew of screenshots to show off their hardwork.
Some of these were released kind of small so they’re in full size here. Some of them you can click on and see them larger.
